Your Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications:

You will also need to have the following knowledge, experience and qualifications

  • Educated to Level 3 of the National Qualification Framework for England, Wales and Northern Ireland
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • In-depth knowledge of relational database methodologies
  • Knowledge of performance management systems
  • Experience within a similar role of similar responsibilities
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience of database management and using analytical techniques for effective modelling and generation of data and management information.

What you’ll be doing:

Our Assets Data Officer works in our Assets, Sustainability and Healthy Homes team and is responsible for developing, reviewing, and managing Tai Calon’s physical assets, attributes, work programme databases, systems, and all relevant business processes.

You will continuously analyse and report key asset management statistical information to inform the service area and improve the business and financial performance of the business as a whole.

As an Assets Data Officer, you’ll take ownership in

  • Working collaboratively with our IT team to generate reliable and relevant quantitative and qualitative data, which helps to produce programmes of work, benchmark, measure, report and improve on performance.
  • Ensuring the preparation of Asset Management data and reports, effectively maximising the use of IT to easily and accurately produce information to comply with all regulatory and inspection frameworks.
  • Leading the development of user-friendly information and asset management systems and/or processes to help inform business and service development.
  • Communicating relevant, accurate and timely asset information across the business to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of all teams’ use of asset information.
  • Contributing to organisational and cultural change to deliver Tai Calon’s vision and values.
  • Maintaining and enhancing the quality and integrity of data using all available electronic systems, including PIMSS (asset management database), Northgate (housing management database), and RAMIS (compliance system). Identifying, updating, checking, and cleansing the data so that it can inform the asset management strategy and KPIs.
  • Assisting the Asset Management team to undertake gap analysis, feasibility studies and data system implementations.
  • Analysing outputs, outcomes and costs and writing detailed progress reports.
  • Developing and building effective asset management information to ensure that all staff and tenants are well informed and can effectively implement the relevant asset management, policies, procedures, strategies and plans.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively across TCCH, ensuring that effective working relationships are developed and maintained between individuals, teams and service areas.
  • Promoting and supporting the learning and development of others and engage in relevant learning and development projects, including providing training to others.
  • Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations and applying this understanding to your area of the business.
  • Developing asset management reporting systems to ensure that data held centrally reflects real-time information.
  • Co-ordinating and leading information updates for all relevant asset systems and modules.
  • Leading and developing the maintenance of asset, cyclical management and property records to help inform detailed annual and strategic business planning and ensure that TCCH complies with legislative standards and its duty of care as a landlord, property owner and employer.
  • Researching, interpreting data and writing reports so that others can maximise the effective use of performance and information data, to support business development and service improvement in all aspects of asset management.
  • Collecting, interrogating and reporting on relevant quantitative and qualitative data in relation to our assets, so that others have the information they need to develop business cases and understand/improve performance.

Permanent

Working Pattern:

You will work 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

You will also be eligible for our Flexi Time scheme, with most colleagues working their hours between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
