Job Description

Tai Calon was established in 2010 as a not-for-profit housing association, with almost 6,000 homes we are the largest provider of affordable homes in Blaenau Gwent. With more than 280 people trained and dedicated to their job, we’re a big employer in the area, and we’re looking for a part time Supported Living Team Leader to join our Sheltered Schemes team.

What you’ll be doing:

As our Supported Living Team Leader, you’ll be at the heart of delivering high-quality, person-centred services across our eight sheltered housing schemes and community alarm service. You’ll guide and support a dedicated team, helping them create safe, supportive environments where people can live independently with confidence.

This role is varied and rewarding, with plenty of opportunities to make a real difference. You’ll provide leadership on housing management, safeguarding, and health and safety, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to keep services running smoothly and continuously improving. From supporting audits and preparing for changes in regulations to representing Tai Calon at key forums, you’ll help shape the way we support our tenants.

You’ll also oversee the day-to-day management of the community alarm service across all schemes, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. With line management responsibility for the team, you’ll provide the support and guidance needed to help everyone succeed and grow.

Salary:

£19,373.50 per annum based on 18.5 hours per week

(The full time equivalent salary of the role is £38,747.00)

 

Contract Type:

Permanent

 

Working Pattern:

As a Supported Living Team Leader, you will work 18.5 hours per week.

You will work your hours across 2.5 days a week between Monday and Friday, and you will be able to agree your working pattern before you join us.

 

Where You'll Be Working:

This role offers Hybrid Working, where you’ll be able to work from home. For the days that you're in the office, we've got a bright, open and modern space for you to catch up with colleagues and work from. 

This role will also require you to visit our Sheltered schemes across Blaenau Gwent, so you will need suitable transport.
