Job Description
Tai Calon was established in 2010 as a not-for-profit housing association, with almost 6,000 homes we are the largest provider of affordable homes in Blaenau Gwent. Your Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications:
You will also need to have the following knowledge, experience and qualifications
Qualifications
- Educated to Degree Level or qualified by experience through having undertaken similar roles
Knowledge
- Knowledge and awareness of Welsh Government Regulatory and Governance requirements.
- Knowledge of the social housing sector in Wales
Experience
- Experience of undertaking research, analysing numerical data, and summarising findings
- Experience in using Word & PowerPoint to produce professional reports and presentations.
- Experience of using Excel
What you’ll be doing:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join us and play a key role in supporting Tai Calon’s strategic priorities and governance activities. Working closely with our governance manager, executive assistant, senior leaders and the Board, the postholder will conduct research, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives that support the delivery of the organisation’s Corporate Plan.
The role requires a proactive and highly organised individual with strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills, who can work across a range of strategic projects in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Contract Type:
Fixed Term Contract – 3 Months
Working Pattern:
You will work 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
You will also be eligible for our Flexi Time scheme, with most colleagues working their hours between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Where You'll Be Working:
This role offers Hybrid Working, where you’ll be able to work from home.
