Tai Calon was established in 2010 as a not-for-profit housing association, with almost 6,000 homes we are the largest provider of affordable homes in Blaenau Gwent. Your Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications:

Qualifications
- Educated to Level 3 of the National Qualification Framework for England, Wales and Northern Ireland

- Experience within a similar role with similar responsibilities
- Experience in accurate recording of financial transactions/bank reconciliation.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Finance Support Partner, you’ll work closely with our Senior Finance Business Partner and Management Accountants to make sure our financial information is accurate, timely and meaningful. From monthly management accounts to annual service charges, your work will provide the insight and integrity we need to make confident decisions and deliver value for money across Tai Calon.
Your role will be varied and hands-on. You’ll support the production of monthly accounts, prepare and reconcile financial data, and monitor the integrity of our ledgers. Day to day, this could involve reconciling bank accounts and company credit cards, processing utility bills, or ensuring the correct allocation of receipts and journals. You’ll also contribute to wider projects and help keep the finance team running smoothly and effectively.
Beyond the numbers, you’ll be a friendly and approachable point of support for colleagues across the business. You’ll build strong working relationships, provide training on our Procure to Pay system, and ensure financial processes are understood and followed. This will help our colleagues to feel confident in handling financial information while ensuring compliance with our regulations.

Contract Type:
Permanent
Working Pattern:
You will work 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
You will also be eligible for our Flexi Time scheme, with most colleagues working their hours between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
